Our Mission

Roughly 1 in 5  children in the US will be sexually abused before the age of 18. This form of abuse does not favor any demographic. ALL children from all walks of life are at risk. The good news? Child sexual abuse is also 95% preventable! This is a fight families can win. But how?

What Are The Body Safety Songs?

13 children’s songs that teach safety concepts for preventing child sexual abuse the way kids learn best.

The songs & the companion workbook teach kids, parents and caregivers:
How to recognize, avoid and navigate high risk situations,
How to maintain risk-reducing boundaries,
Exit strategies, Body autonomy, Privacy
How, when, and from whom to get help,
What “grooming” looks like,
The connection between pornography and abuse, & how to talk about it with kids
Fostering resilience, etc., and most importantly,
How to talk comfortably about the uncomfortable.

If you can sing about it, you can talk about it!

Testimonials

What experts, care providers, and everyday parents are saying about the Body Safety Songs:

You remember the songs from your childhood like it was yesterday. Head, shoulders, knees and toes- helped millions of 1-3 year olds learn to identify their body parts. And who can forget conjunction junction, what’s your function by schoolhouse rocks?

These songs are much more important! And have the ability to help your child not only learn body safety skills but remember them with kid-friendly, light, fun melodies.

Sexual abuse prevention does not have to be scary. When we empower kids, teachers, and families with these incredible tools lives can change and kids will be empowered.

From an adorable song about secrets to the jazzy tune called, I Gotta Go! Which explains the importance of exit strategies and safety circles. These songs are light, fun, and super kid-friendly.

These songs are an essential part of any body safety tool kit! And really help kids integrate the body safety strategies to memory. And so much fun to sing.

I can’t wait to see the impact these songs will have for the safety of all children on a global scale.

Jennette has decisively dedicated her music talents for body safety of children to empower them for a lifetime. Her professionally recorded songs guide children through simple body safety concepts with catchy tunes and relevant connections to a child’s world. This sensitive topic – prevention of child sexual abuse – can be approached in a child-friendly and age-approriate way. And, her body safety songs do just that! As parents and caregivers, we teach children skills such as fire safety, water safety and traffic safety. In today’s world, Jeannette and I advocate for adding body boundaries training, especially since our approaches do not include reproduction. It’s simple as 1, 2, 3 – sing a body safety song, read the Say “NO!” and TELL! book story as well as role-play the scenarios about body boundaries for even the youngest of children – a life skill for all ages!

You have been an amazing ambassador for children everywhere! I am so grateful you came to share your message in our [community]! My goal this summer was to listen to one song a day, but after a couple of days, my kids wanted to listen to all of them! You don’t know how much I smile when I hear my kids sing at the top of their lungs, “Dad–I feel bad!” or “Trick, tricky people!” or “Look away, run, tell!” I feel like a “good mom” because I use these songs to teach my kids how to avoid abuse. Just wanted to say thanks from one mom to another!

I shared these body safety songs with my preschool parents. I think they are absolutely fantastic and will help educate your children to be and stay safe in a fun and engaging way. Please listen beforehand and judge for yourself…but I HIGHLY recommend them. It can be uncomfortable or cause us parents so much stress trying to teach about body safety to our little ones. I know I stress about what’s age appropriate? when do I bring it up? Is what I’m saying too serious? Am I scaring instead of informing? etc…. And I truly believe these songs can help make it easier, kid appropriate, and fun. I hope it helps take some stress off of us as we try to keep our littles safe.”
